Director of Dutch Fork Elementary

After-School Program

Cissy

My name is Cissy Graham. I am the Director of DFES After-Schoolprogram, Kit Klub. I was born in Andalusia, Alabama, a small town about an hour & a half south of Montgomery,  Alabama. My father was in the Army, so when I was 12 years old we moved to Greenville, South Carolina. I attended Winthrop University (Rock Hill) and Queen's University  (Charlotte) where I majored in Sociology. I worked with child sex offenders and children with conduct disorders and substance abuse for about 8 years. I have been in Education for about 20 years and have held various positions. Throughout high school and college I worked in daycare and was a nanny for several families.  I worked in the Rock Hill School District for about 8 years and in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 10 years before moving to Irmo.

My boys attended Dutch Fork Elementary and I became active on the PTO. I started working at DFES January 2019 as an Instructional Assistant. In August 2019, I became the Kit Klub Director. I enjoy working with children and have worked with children my entire life. I come from a family of Educators and started off young working in my aunt’s daycare. My passion is helping and teaching children how to learn and be successful in life. I have truly enjoyed both of my roles at DFES and enjoy working with our DFES Fox Cubs!
